GOLLY WISH I HAD A PHOTO I COULD POST OF OUR PUZZLE..... HE HAS BROKEN BOTH FRONT LEGS, AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF COURSE!

BUT THAT FIRST PHOTO JUST BROUGHT IT ALL BACK, THE SECOND LEG ENDED UP BENT... LIKE A QUEEN ANNE CHAIR LEG, THAT WAS AFTER IT HAD HEALED AND THE BANDAGE CAME OFF........ HE THEN HAD TO HAVE IT RE-BROKEN AND EXTERNALLY PINNED WITH TOOK ABOUT 10 WEEKS TO HEAL OVER THREE MONTHS FOR THAT ONE BREAK.....

SO WE KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE FOR ALL THOSE POORLY WHIPPYS OUT THERE GET WELL SOON.............

oOH they all look very fetching in their bandages! And despite a few lapses they all seem to have the patience of little angels :huggles: Fingers crossed for total recoveries!!!

Well, Tiny's not a whippet, but he has got a lovely purple bandage (w00t)

He managed to rip his pad half off this morning and didn't leave enough to stitch! :x He's grazed the one on the left leg too, but it's not as bad.....

The bandage is a bit manky now cos he keeps licking it, and I suspect weeing on it, but it's got to be changed every day anyway.

Well Josephine is 3/4 whippet so I hope she's allowed on this thread :- "

She got a small cut on her neck that had to be stitched and she came home with a bandage on her leg where the IV went in to her leg for the GA

I'm rather cross with the vet as I said very clearly not to shave her too much as I show her. The cut is about 1.5cm long and the shaved patch is about 10cm by 20  .

That's a huge shaved bit!!

Tiny's bandage has gone now - he licked it off about 5 times so I'm not bothering now, just salt water and wound powder. Actually it's looking a lot better than I thought it might. :- "
