Blue's been a bit spoiled today. As well as the gorgeous portrait, his new coat arrived:

aww look how handsome he is in his new coat. He is beautiful

What a wonderful coat for a lovely boy! Here in Canada I make the coats with roll up collars to protect from our snow and wind. The dogs look so warm and cozy with the collar up and only their noses showing. Who made yours? It is beautiful work and a great fabric - very southwest American Native design. ^_^

Thanks, we got it online from a lady in Ridgefield, Washington - here's a link to her website:

Roundabout Whippet Supplies

Do you have a website where I could have a look at the coats you make? Could start an international collection for Blue!!! :D

What a lovely coat..........really different :)

Thanks  It's really cosy too. Outside is wool and it's lined with cosy fleece. Nicki's going to make him a nice bright red snood for when it gets really cold - can't wait. Will probably end up getting him a new orange or red collar to match the bright colours in the coat as well. It's nice to have a wee whippie to buy prezzies for and spoil - my daughter is 15 and the days when I could buy her a surprise and get it right are long gone (lol) especially when it comes to clothes

I know that feeling well..........my girl's 17

Yip - I think nowadays if I like something then that rules it out straight away! At least Blue doesn't complain! :D And at least he never says 'Oh - that's really nice ............. for you!' :- "

Yes, my web site is DOGattired.com. I use my dogs as models so you will see my two little shi tzus and two of my husband's three greyhounds (all looking very embarrassed at having to pose, of course). Actually I have several new coat fabrics that have not been added to the site: red plaid wool, brown hounds tooth velour, tan faux sheepskin, brown faux beaver and beige faux snake skin. I also have a rain coat which is turquoise lined with cotton. As you can see on the site, you can send me the measurements so the coat will fit properly. Also check out the collars. Enjoy! Following up on my last note, sorry, I don't know how to put in a quote yet. Can someone explain it to me? Barb :b

Great website - I love the picture of the greyhound modelling the shocking pink coat! :D I think I will have to count my pennies and get in touch for some Christmas prezzies for Blue soon! Oh - your dogs are all gorgeous too

Usually you just need to click the button underneath the posting you want to quote that has "reply written on it - but as you'll see from my last post, it didn't really work that time - I must have pressed a wrong button!

Thanks, we'll see if this works!

The hot pink coat was an order from California, of course. She chose a great collar to go with it, and she was really happy with the results, although her dog may have been a little embarrassed, even if it was in California!
