he is a ex racer called decs decati and i was wondering if you knew anything about this line of greyhounds such as their temperment etc i dont know if it is even posible for you to know this but ive seen on other board people aking about breeding of certain dogs so i thought some of you might know this particualar line

also my mum took blaze to meet decs decati when alan went to look at him (they only had to available and one went for blaze so he was a no no) blaze dislikes large dogs and my mum said she doesnt think he will ever get use to him but is it likely that if they see eachother often that they will get use to each other and blaze will no longer be intimidated by large dogs to play with or is it unlikely??

Amy since when has Blaze been wary of big dogs? He used to live with a greyhound He'd known William since he was tiny Blaze not William

I dont know mabey its because he has got used to being a only dog or mabey its just new dogs he doesnt like but if a big dog comes near him (even small ones sometimes) he starts realy jumping and pulling away kindda like something hurting and i dont know why since we had him he hasnt had any bad experiences or anything. I dont know how bad he was when he went see the greyhound because i didnt go (i was at school) but mum said he realy wasnt keen on it.

i think he would probably be ok if he could get used to other dogs again (like you say hes grew up with william and the whippies)and hopefully IF alan has a greyhound they will become good friends :teehee:

have to meet up sometime and get him back used to william most likely is because he's used to being on his own now reintroduce him to a greyhound we know wont hurt him

Hi Amy

Don't know anything specifically about this line, but looking at some of his ancestors, you've got various Honchos and also Westmead Move (Nick Savva) which I'm guessing is a relative of Westmead Hawk (who broke his leg a while back and is now retired to stud), so I'm guessing you wouldn't have temperament problems. I'm no expert though!!
