Could anyone please explain why Billy thinks I need to 'help' him with his tripe sticks? Every time he gets one he thinks he should sit on my knee or hold the tripe stick against my leg whilst chewing it so I get to smell it - lovely - not!! :x When I take it off him and throw it on the floor he just gets it and brings it back!!!

When I have insisted on throwing it on the floor he uses my handback as a prop for it - so on a couple of occasions I have found a half chewed stick in my bag whilst trying to find my purse in a shop *urgh* :x !

Does anyone else's dogs like to share their lovely treats with them? :x :D

 I think Billy is just trying to be nice and share with you  Blue was doing something similar the other day when he wanted to chew his rawhide bone thing and sit on my knee at the same time - the result was the soggy end of the rawhide waving about in my face from time to time (w00t) I've never found anything in my handbag though (w00t) how kind of Billy to leave you a tasty treat like that

yep dana is the same, she gets on my knee and puts the tripe/pizzel in my hand fr me to hold for her. good job i have a strong stomach lol

(w00t) count yourself lucky its only tripe sticks hes sharing with you i rember once my tia had her ass sorta resting on me lap and a little tiny bit of clinker fell on me leg :x bring whole new meaning to the word share does that  :x

aww bless him

dont be cruel and sit with while he's eating it (w00t)

Gypsy just likes to eat hers on my sofa

how sweet but you think you have it bad, my Billy used to bring me my baby brothers soiled nappies out of the bin, Normally just as i was getting up in the morning. Luckly my little brother is now 6 and toilet trained so Bill now brings me shoes.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one whose nose has to suffer in this way and have such kind(?!) pets who like to share lovely things with us (w00t) (sorry FifeJillandIan, dana, nicky and zottie but it does make me feel better knowing I'm not the only one! :D )

Hely - I know what you mean - Billy's even tried to take a tripe stick upstairs and eat it on my bed! :x
