This morning William has had to go back to the vets for a check up. This time my own vet Pat was there and he's not happy that William is still not using his leg. He has whippets and lurchers of his own so understands what wuses they can be.
William has now got to have an anasthetic (sp) rather than a sedative so he can movehis elbow about and take more xrays. So now we have another long wait by the telephone in the hope thats he doesn't find anything serious wrong.
This does nothing to improve my faith in locum vets asTegan's pups had their dew claws removed by a locum as Pat was ill in hospital at the time.On one of the pupies the dew claw began to grow backand he ha to go back to have it removed properly
