William is now using his leg .On Friday I caught him cocking his leg in the garden . Not a major acheivement but William rarely cocks his leg at the best of times and to do it he had to put his leg down . He stumbled but at least he tried. Yesterday he started to put his foot down when walking and managed to cock his leg properly. :D

Today I have taken him for a short walk .He is trying to walk if I take him on grass although he is still limping badly but at least he is trying to use his leg now.

When he stands now his shoulder blades are now level were as last week the shoulder on his bad side was hanging down so although we don't want to get our hopes up too much we are nowbecoming quite optimistic that he will recover well. We don't care if I can never show him again as long as he is ok

That's brilliant news Helen...

So glad to hear that William is on the road to recovery :huggles:

Well it sounds really positive, when PS badly hurt her leg at 3 months, she wouldn't even put it down to walk for about 3 weeks I think :( Then she slowly started using it and I did lots of gentle lead walks and after about 5 weeks she suddenly was completely sound on it again

Don't worry too much, if he using it thats a great sign and I'm sure he will be right as rain sooner than you think :luck:
