Does anyone else's dog like fruit? Willow snaffled an apple from the fruit bowl on the weekend and really seemed to enjoy it.

Miss Twiggy (whose nose is sneaking into the pic) has a treasure of her own - a gardening glove brought in from outside!!

Digit and Bloggs love stealing carrots out the salad drawer......they look sooooo very pleased with themselves when they're crunching up their illicit gains :D

all mine love fruit and veg when I am doing tea they hover about incase any bits of veg fall on the floor and we have to keep the fruit bowl out of reach as one day they got through 5ld of apples it was apples purey everywere in the back the next morning yuk but the worrst has to be my lurcher talula tony was doing fryed whiet cabbage in garlic he was doing a big wok full for us and his mum and dad and my sister to freeze ther was 2 large white cabbage cooked in the wok with garlic on the stove. some came to the door and tony was got a few minets when he got back talula had eaten the lot. the smell was horred for days and the houes had a green cloud over the top of it the smell was that bad we hav never had cabbage since :x :x :x :x

None of mine are keen on fruit or veg :(

I tried them all with a sprout each the other night but it was a big NO. Ella tried hers, with persuasion from me, but gave up half way through.

They do eat their fair share of horse poo though, and that's recycled grass :- "

My lot love veggies in their teas although someone I think Jasper wont eat carrots doen't mean they don't go into his bowl though as they usually have a big pan of pasta and veggies that gets added to their food but he does spit the carots on the floor were they usually gat snaffled up by the others.

Owen loves raw cauliflower leaves and hovers around under your feet if he thinks you've got one but his favourite is the big thick stalk in the middle of the cauliflower

Well Sidney is a fussy eater at the best of times but if it is good enough for Ben he will have a nibble or two as well.

Ben loves carrots and comes running when he hears me doing some for our dinner.

Out old greyhound used to love a apple and would go mad for grapes he would pick out of the fruit bowl.... then again this is the dog we had to rush to the vets after he broke in the christmas pressy cupboard and stole a wrapped box of cherry brandy chocolates :x

As for treasure..... Sidney likes household stuff like, toilet roll, boxes and anything he thinks we have not noticed fall on the floor.

Ben likes outside stuff as well as the other and we get leaves and twigs brought in with him

My three boys, 1 whippet & two lurchers have just dicovered that they like

asparagus

My youngster will even try to help the people picking it!

they also enjoy most other fruit & veg and my whippet helped pick the home grown peas last year ( think he had more than me) The veg patch now has a fence round it.

My strawberries also suffer from whippet thievery & if mr whippet eats it they all have to try it... :) They do seem to have cast iron constitutions though thank goodness.

Mine love fruit and salad and Dinah goes crazy when she sees a banana, hopping up and down on her back legs and 'talking' to you. They also love carrots and bits of cabbage leaf.

Blu loves an apple in the garden, he enjoys tossing it up into the air after a coulpe of bites then chomps away at it, melon is also a favorate of his except if its an empty melon shell then he just barks at it :sweating:

Mine love to steal apples and carrots when I am slicing them into the horse's feeds - they also love to slurp up the copra and anything else in the feed room for that matter

A friends whippet used to help himself to snowpeas out of the veggie garden :p

our two lurchers love fruit and veg all of it and everything else they can get hold of.
