:)) :) ) :)) Well done Keelan, great pics. Saw you were busy, hope you enjoyed your day

Great photos Keelan.

I think that you did capture a lot of races just that they were on the photo finish camera you, Judy and the camera certainly earned your money today.

Well done to the new Champions. It's a shame that we didn't manage to get a photo of all of the dogs in the finals that Linda bred today I know that she wanted a photo of them but matters overcame us in the end and it didn't happen.

In particular what a shame that there wasn't a 'family' photo of RCh Talk of the Devil and RCh Fun To Run with their 4 offspring who all made the finals, 2 of which became Champions today and one who got her half coat. I remember that there was one of March Wind and RCh Just For Fun and their offspring RCh Big Ron, Rch Diamond Geezer, and Stripey Tara and Bring It On (half coats) when they won at the WCRA Champs and I know that Linda treasures it.

So excuse the brag on Linda's behalf but she has bred a lot of great dogs and given a lot of owners a great day out. Linda is not on the internet and knowing her as well as I do she'd never blow her own trumpet so I'm going to do it for her.

But congratulations to the winner of the 18lbs group My Baby Lollipop, 3rd place Fun Lovin', the winner of the 20lbs RCh Grease Lightning, 24lbs group 3rd place Mad For It, 4th place Secret Potions, winner of the 26lbs RCh Quiver, 3rd place Spellbinder, Vet 6-7 years old n/ex 19lbs 3rd place RCh Fun To Run, Vet 6-7 years old n/ex 23lbs winner RCh/VCh Stripey Tara, Ears Roxy (sorry missed where she was place) , Vet 6-7 years old n/ex 27lbs RCh Bring It On (sorry Steve I missed his place), Vets 6-7 years old n/ex 32lbs 3rd place VCh Alchemist.

Congrats one and all and to all the dogs who ran today giving us such a great days racing with some very, very close finishes.

Also thanks to the NPWRA committee and their helpers who put on a very enjoyable days racing. Thank you for all your hard work.

Thank you Barbara for putting your write up on, especially the one of the most special litter breed by Linda, it brought a tear to my eye's, thinking of how special they realy are  just like the old time's, it's just such a shame we could'nt be there :(

A big CONGRATULATIONS to NVCH Stripey Tara winning her group  , and of course Bring it on and Alchamist, Fun to Run and Ears Roxy making the finals as well

:)) I enjoyed my first National Champs meeting, especially Best of the rest racing, what a brilliant idea! Well said Barbara, Linda certainly has bred some exceptional dogs. Well done to all the finalists yesterday, and thanks to all the hard workers. Great raffle too

WELL DONE to all the dogs who did their owners proud yesterday and CONGRATULATIONS to all those who gained their NPWRA titles and half coats.

Despite not having a dog to run this time we had a lovely day, 'catching up' with folk and watching great racing with some very close finishes.

Top marks to Keelan on the photo finish and to the little lad on the quad bike, - both these youngsters worked non-stop all day with such professionalism and good humour!

The 'special moment' for us was watching the Blue Gangs' Coisty (Blue Boy) win the Veterans 6-7 yrs. Old N/E 32lbs. group, - flying the flag for all the non-racing bred dogs that most of us begin racing with. Mandy and Derek looked just about set to burst with happiness!

Last but not least, thank you Maureen for the DELICIOUS bread pudding! :))

Some racing photos to come once we have sorted them all out.

re Blue Boy he stromed that final didn't he. A magic win and yes it is great to see a non racing bred whippet taking a group. So that is now North West Champion AND National Vet Champion Blue Boy to you and me. Otherwise now known as Sir Coisty.

Had a great day yesterday watching all the races, some of which were very close, in fact one race was a deadheat!!!

Well done to all winners and finalists

Thank you National people for running a good champs

Congratulations to all the new champs and half coats especially Stripey Tara xxxxx

Special well done to mandy and derek and coisty.. wonderful win!! Also big congrats to Sheila .. your boys did you proud and a big congrats and hug to my special friend Zubin[AKA Racing Spikes ]..winning his veteran group again. he always gives his all .I was very proud of my little old lady, Darkling Dragonfly pottering down the track in the wake of Crystal Star again!! A great effort, she always does her best and at least she's come off sound.. except for s skinned stopper..this was probably her retirement outing... at nearly ten, I think its probably time to hang up her running shoes, even if she doesnt!!

We had a great day at the Nationals, well done to all the winners and as said there really were some great and extremely close races. The standard of dogs was scary!

I am very proud of our Kieran doing the bike all day even in the rain at times, and all at the age of 10. A future race manager for sure!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to the next champs at Indie.

Andy

Poor Guinea making her run up the track like that when most of her life is spent under the duvet snoozing and being ladylike. Woody will be glad that she is now a duvet dog like him the little red folks with the (white faces ) have to have lots of snoozing under duvets it is their due after all.

Well done with your girl Lee on winning the 16lbs group. Very chuffed for you.

Just adding our congratulations to the Scottish racers. Mandy & Derek will still be beaming at Coisty's (NVCh Blue Boy's) performance, it was so deserved. They didn't expect it, which made it all the more special :huggles: Pam and Tam's Lollipop girlies ran brilliantly too coming first and second in the N/E 18lb group, so now both girls have half coats. The miles you all travel is amazing, and with such commitment to your dogs and their racing, you deserve the success. Well done all

Ray and Gaye would like to say sorry that Memory Man did not get his full coat this time but many thanks to Alison and Andrew for breeding such a lovely big boy, Starr, who at 14 months is giving us such a thrill and an incentive to carry on racing after such a long time (38 yrs) as a hobby. ;)
