As you may know, woody went in for x-rays on friday, and I was very worried. Thankfully all went fine! All your good wishes must have helped, so thank you. She didn't find anything really abnormal, she did an ultrasound scan as well so she could compare the two, but still nothing stood out. So we still don't really know what it is but it may be in his brain. She's given him some quite strong steroids to go long with his thyroid medication, hes also on a short course of antibiotics, So woods now rattles with pills every time he moves!!! and I've also got him some herbal devils claw pain relief liquid. An extra plus side to the steroids he is on is that they will make him hungry and thirsty so he'll hopefully gain weight a bit quicker now, he's back into the vet on tues evening to see if the pills are mking any difference - if not we're really going to have to have a serious think about his quality of life
On a lighter note, Bobby is coming on leaps and bounds. He does have to go to the vet on friday for his heart x-ray but thats only to decide which heart medication he'll be on. You'd never know he had a bad heart though' as he's quite active, trotting round the garden and pouncing on his squeaky dog toy. I had a days work on friday when Woods was in the vet, so Bob wasn't left lonely I took him with me and he had a great time sitting outside in the sunshine all day - he was our supervisor, he watched up vigilantly to make sure we shoveled chalk correctly! He fell asleep on my lap in the truck on the way home, it was really nice to bond with him like that and give him some individual attention. However he was very happy to meet up with woody again when we picked him up before we got home
