WOODY
Woody is a roughly 3 year old lurcher, likely a greyhound x. He was found abandoned and starving in woods in Ireland with awful bite wounds on his face. Luckily he was found and is now making a very good recovery. He has put on weight and his wounds are just about healed up. Woody has a pretty black and tan coat. He is a very pretty boy and is going to be a real stunner once he puts on a bit more weight and condition.
Woody is a lovely boy, and his personality is starting to come out now that he is feeling so much better. He loves to be with people and would happily follow you around all day. He is always wagging his tail and is a very steady, easy going boy, a joy to have around.
Woody is brilliant with other dogs, both large and small, and greets them all politely. He is not cat friendly, however. He has most likely not been in a home environment before, so new owners will need to be a bit understanding at the start and allow him time to settle and learn the house rules.
This gorgeous boy is currently being kennelled in Ireland, and can be transported via Kerry Greyhounds to the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up. This will be organised and paid for by Kerry Greyhounds, and we ask only for a donation to help cover costs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-flea'd and wormed and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.
If you are interested in fostering or adopting Woody, please email me on tamakin_84@yahoo.co.uk for our adoption application and information pack. Thanks!
