Track/Ring is fine but final deceision will be Friday pm after a committee inspection.

This is due to access as Worcester has been under flood (w00t) and as more rain is forcast this week :- " we will need to keep this in mind with people travelling.

As I state we will post on Friday pm and let you all know then.

Fingers Crossed everything will be ok.

Regards

Amanda

Dogs safety is our importance and with people travelling from afar if the weather predicts otherwise then I'm afraid we will have to cancel.

Track looked at tonite, its perfect no water just lush green grass :teehee:

Ring area is just as good.

Just one area thats a little wet, as you come through the gated road onto the Park, please proceed with care as an area of water is laying on the tarmac road. (w00t)

It is driveable through (Ive done it tonite) or else the grass area to the right is ok to drive on with care.

Directions

M5 junction 6

take the A449 to Kidderminster (Dual Carriageway)

at slip road take a left (signposted BlackPole)

at T junction bear left

proceed along this road, through traffic lights and into built up area (MacDonalds/Lidl etc)

at Large island bear right under railway bridge and through traffic lights

at Y junction bear right onto Bilford Road

proceed about 400 yards and on going over canal bridge indicate right

turn into gated road and follow tarmac drive to Track/Ring

DO NOT DRIVE OVER THE GRASS PITCHES PLEASE!!!!!

if you turn into the Leisure Centre you have gone to far.

C U all on Sunday

Regards

Amanda

Well, what a fun day that was!

I was very pleased with Digit - he didnt even win his heat, but he wasnt far behind the dog that did.....this was his first ever proper race - only done fun running before (once!) and theres no way my boy is racing fit. So I was absolutely thrilled with what he gave on the day. The most important thing tho is how much he loved it - we will definately go again

It did take place we had a lovely sunny day with not even a hint of rain

As for results my Owen won the sight hound class Jasper was the 'baby' of the veteran class being only 7 years old and came 3rd pinky p was 3rd in child handler and my son Ben was 2nd sorry but I don't know any other results.

Owen also started and finished his racing career we knew he would run to me but he lost sight of me started to run to my car then when everyone called him he got confused and decided best thing to do was to roll in the grass to try to remove his muzzle or rather Gus's muzzle

We eventually got back home at about 8 oclock as just a mile before out exit on the m6 we hit tail backs from we think an accident further up the m6 as a police car went up the hard shoulder with its sirens on

Had a really great day, friendly & relaxed as in previous years. The only thing to spoil it was a puncture on the way home :(

I would just like to add a great big thankyou to Ben for all his help with Digit and Bloggs during the racing.

I really couldn't have raced both of them without your help mate - hope your arms aren't aching as much as mine
