WWRC proudly presents its 9th Annual Lurcher Show on Sunday 30th July 2006 at Perdiswell Park, Bilford Road, Worcester
( SUPREME CHAMPION TO QUALIFY FOR MIDLANDS GAME FAIR AND PRIDE OF THE PEAKS)

Judging commences at 11:00 a.m.

Showing entry fee £1.00 per dog

Rosettes for 1st,2nd and 3rd places in classes

Class 1-Champion Puppy  Dog or Bitch 6-12 months

Class 2- Rabbiting Class Any Dog under 21"  (All dogs for this class must be measured by an official before entering ring)

Class 3- Smooth Dog under 23"

Class 4- Smooth Bitch under 23"

Class 5- Rough Dog under 23"

Class 6- Rough Bitch under 23"

Class 7- Smooth Dog 23" - 26"

Class 8- Smooth Bitch 23" - 26"

Class 9- Rough Dog 23" - 26"

Class 10- Rough Bitch 23" - 26"

Class 11- Smooth Dog over 26"

Class 12- Smooth Bitch over 26"

Class 13- Rough Dog over 26"

Class 14- Rough Bitch over 26"

Class 15- Sight Hound any dog hunting by sight

Class 16- Pairs  Mix or Match

Class 17- Veteran any dog over 7 years old

Class 18- Child Handler   Under 15 years of age

Class 19- Championship Class for classes

Worcester Whippet Racing Club or its Commitee or Members do not accept responsibility for any person or dog while entering this show or racing

Racing to take place after showing:- £1.50 per dog ALL dogs must be muzzled for racing.  Final winners to qualify for Midlands Game Fair!

Under 23",  Over 23" and simulated coursing

Additional racing according to entries.

Tina thank you for organising such a great day. We had a lovely time , as always one fo the nicest happiest shows of the year.

It was fantstic to meet a whole load of K9ers and their dogs- Running Free (I hope I have got the right name between you and your wife- sorry if I'm wrong ) and PinkyP, Oakmoorehill and BPMoore, Posh Totty and of course TinaBow, Jo Lock, MAO and Wunwin. Hope I haven't missed anyone. It was lovely to meet everyone's beautiful dogs :wub: .

I was very pleased with the girls- Esme was champion puppy, Nana was second in her class, Josephine was second in her class, Tess won her class, Esme was third in the sighthound class. Josie got into the semi final of the coursing and Nana got into the final of the under 23" racing and came 3rd over all.

what a great day had by all certainly worth the trip to see friends, good friends! would like to thank everyone for the hospitality it was second to none! great to see the k9`rs and thanks to ben and pinky and elizabeth for all their help through the day with dogs and alfie, oh by the way ben i will swap blue for willy!!!!!! tee hee just dont tell your mum!!!!!!! thanks tina :thumbsup: :huggles:

We had a great day too .It was lovely to meet loads of k9ers and Tina got to meet her beloved Willie

Tegan and Owen won the brace class and Tegan was 3rd in the rabbiting under 21 inches

forgot to say poor sophie got a 2nd in the veteran , she was comedy value jumping up and down the whole way round the ring!!!!!!!! think we should tell her she is elderly????? not bad for an 11yr old accident prone iggie!!!! blue was , well just blue and he entertained ben hugely when chasing the lure!!!!! :- "

Firstly I'm glad everyone reached home safe and sound Secondly we had a fantastic day, it was really good to see everyone and their lovely dogs

Am happy at the outcome of the day with Pinky P being runner up in the under 15 child handlers :wub: and Little Stirling Runner up in the Puppy Class
