We had snow overnight which kept the frost off so hoped the sun would come out and melt the snow before racing, which lucky for us it did!
Just trials today
1st up was Tanzy having a hand slip and flying down the track. For a little dog she goes in so hard at the lure, it must be the speed shes travelling
Next was our clubs Jack Rusell who thinks hes a whippet namely Perkins, hes little legs going ninty to the dozen
After was Nicks, Scholes glad to say he seems to be getting his trapping right (Its not through lack of trying, various kick boards and now back to the original old one, If it was good enough for Flying Flashman and Demonic Love then it will be good enough for Lock Lockdown)
Mark and Andreas Louie next, his beachwork last week seems to have suited him, hitting the traps each time and following the lure in a dead stright line.
Norman after, lets hope he gets more races this year, as this lighty raced lad can really run. just lack of racing lets him down. By the way brill to see the pups Stu and Kate, nice looking pups full of devilment. Best of Luck with them.
Angus was up next, bursting for a run as he missed out last week as he's mum had to work. Peace restored this afternoon Sharon !
Pipers turn, this red fawn bitch improves with each race, something to live up to after Tanzys start to racing last year but I think Dave & Emma will have their hands full with both girls knocking up wins this year. :luck:
Finally for dogs racing over the full distance was Di, handslipped as he knocked his mouth trapping last week and is waiting dental work this Friday, Paulines oldie at nearly 8 years old, but still enjoying his running.
Handslips then for Ted, Mark and Andreas pup, chasing the lure like he had done it millions of times, Good 1st run.
Then Cassie, Ians new pup never seen a lure, trap or track before. Reminds me of Haymaker, lets just hope with time she can race like him.
