Here, here Maggi,we have heard it all before.I have two non peds and a Beddiex Whippet. We work the two adult dogs, but not the pup yet.The long dog.Lurcher debate is so boring now.I certainly am not"posing"as a Lurcher owner!!whippetxgreyhounds are non peds, also known as longdogs :thumbsup:Just wondering if anyone on here actually works their lurchers, Or are they all whippetxgreyhounds and non-peds all posing as lurchers to get some trophies.......
Are you genuinely interested or is just another thread to have a dig at people who choose not to work their lurchers/longdogs, or a dig at 1 specific type of lurcher/longdog?
Quite a few people on here have rescue lurchers, some of which are abandoned because they didn't make the grade as workers or have been bred because the owner wanted a pup from their "working lurcher" but couldn't find homes for all the pups etc etc.
Does it really matter what people do with their dogs or what type they are as long as they have a loving home & are cared for?
