Hi folks. Although it is early days at the moment, I have just had my bitch Pepper (Carl's rapid lady at Bushburrow) mated by Mike Brown's dog Glen (Strike while the iron is hot). My bitch was bred by Mike and is 2 1/2 years old.

She is out of his dog 'Lord of the night' (who has passed away), and bitch 'Micky's Clywd.' This is a half brother x half sister mating and should produce some exceptional working dogs. I have traced the pedegree of these dogs back to the late 1800's and there is some incredible names behind them. The puppies will be line bred to the now famous 'Sooty Sam' nine times. I am very excited!!! I will keep you posted. If I could figure out how to post pictures on this forum I would do so...but AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!! I am trying! Cheers. MM

Hi Nicky. Thanks. I will send you one of Glen (the sire) if thats ok and you can see if you can get it on here. But...I would benefit from instructions on how to do it if you could give any help. I go through all the adding attachement of the right size and all that, only to be told the file is too big. I have the picture down to 200kb. Any help would be great. Thanks. MM

It actually says: The total filespace required to upload all the attached files is greater than your per post or global limit. Please reduce the number of attachments or the size of the attachments.

here ya go hun

I did it, but it is smaller than yours? What did you do I didnt?

should be nice pups...pity it isnt in 2 yrs time as i would be very interested

Pepper is HUGE! Not sure if thats an indication of a big litter due or just larger pups or what? Both my border terrier bitches had litters. Hazel had seven pups (with hardly a show), whereas Amber had four and could hardly walk she was so big. The clock is ticking now though (I am off work next week for half term and they are due on Sunday before I return)! I will of course keep you posted. MM

There's a post on how to put pictures on here in the FAQ section

Here

Whilst we welcome pictures of your pups and would love to hear all about them please remember that you are not allowed to advertise them for sale on K9

I've seen glen in the flesh and he's a powerhouse of a dog standing at 23" and weighing approx 36lb hope all goes well

This is pepper at five weeks. She has been on the lead since this photograph, so is not as hard conditioned as she was before mating.
