the champ's are for peds, every breed of running dog compete over the weekend the greyhound were very good and clock good times, the whippets have to be under 21in and go off level break, they have 2 runs and the 6 fastist times over the two runs go into the final, i think our dogs are better and would do faster time but they dont use kick boards, they are alot faster than our peds,

Dont want to appear rude, but don't you think this topic should be on the the pedigree section.

Jayne

dont see why it should be on ped's i race non-ped's,and most people in non- ped new we were going over, and would think this would interest any one with racing dogs,

No, it works like this, posts for pedigree whippets should go on the peds section.

Posts for non peds go on here

Thats why we have a non peds section and a ped section

Am I right or am I right?

these dogs seem closer to our non peds, than peds they look the part if harold comes over look at his dogs really strong like little no limit dogs maybe because they run around 350 yards ?????.be interesting to see what our top dogs could do with them over there might run out of puff as we only run 2 bends not 4 as they do .would this be possible??? for under 21 inch dogs.

whats a world cup without england :- "

Does it really matter which its on - and bein as the people visiting were people who race non peds but obviously have an interest in racing as a whole i don't see the problem. We can all look on all sections if we so wish.

Looks brill thanks for sharing it with us - makes you wonder the work and organising that must go into such a mega meeting.

Tony keep practicising them moves :- "

Wow never knew Nigel put a new rule on k9 that folk can't post about peds in the non ped section

Looks like Jill will have to stop putting the results about the non peds in the Cali thistle pedi club   (w00t)

Peds and non peds (non kc reg) can race at the same club and get along fine :D :D

PS,,,Next time I go to see my relatives in Germany,,I will book it for this time of the year and see the whippets run

   to the last 2 post, luv racing whatever  :D :luck:

As one of the moderators for this section i'd say this would be interesting to both sections, considering Yvonne & Tony race non ped whippets and took time out to go over to Germany and experience racing outside this country i don't see why it shouldn't be on this forum. Maybe we could pick up some new idea's for racing formats etc. It's been of interest to me and from the reply's the same goes for others.

i only meant about the drinking and fighting comment not been a good advert for our sport as well you know :- " as far as this been non ped or ped i dont think it matters at least its a good positive posting for once

 glad its been interesting for you maybe some of the committee from both nnwrf and bwra should try togo over and watch an event over-sea's
