safest racing 2ft per pound and fairest imorecycling trophies is a great idea when i took over the rising sun i asked 4 some donations of trophies got loads and i use them 4 dog of the month or if we have a 10 yard dash. as lisa says kids love to win them. u cudnt really recycle a jacket though maybe wear it as a coat lol

Recycling trophies-yes can be a good idea-but then you'll always get the odd moaning git complaining they've received a 2nd hand/small/insignificant piece which in most cases is what folk might donate back...eh?

you'll keep hold of the sparklers/bonny ones!

We've got piles from 20+ years ago(Lancaster Club) but there not fit to pass on to be used again.

Tip-Car-booters love dog related stuff! especially running dogs.

Children's Pet/shows Competitions-They don't mind an old trophy!

*On a different topic.........but still in this thread- Yes we do all pay the same entry fee-

And yet if you enter the Vet. Class your 'points' don't always count-cause its not classed as the main event. So that could be classed as unfair also :(

I don't mind what you win.....................Having not done it much, I just think it's nice to win :)

At Dawdon we try to do both. The last open we took 50p out per dog for the club then payed the rest out with ht winner's winning there entry fee back and the rest going to the class winner. Then all main winners got a trophy to keep ie. Sup scr, vet, pup, yearling, dog and bitch then the sup over all got a yearly trophy. Next year going to invest in all yearly trophys. While I'm on this anyone who would like to donate a trophy for this reason it'll be greatly appricated.
