what beautiful dogs there coats are immaculate.

Many thanks, i wish their coats were immaculate but here they had just been for a 2hour run round the lakes so think they probably had half the leaves & twigs from the woods hanging out of them!!

They are always bathed & groomed once a week which takes about 4.5 - 5hrs to do both, then they look lovely for the whole of about 5 minutes!

Many thanks for your kind comments, if they are your 2 whippets in your post they look STUNNING.

I've had whippets for the last 20 years mainly rescues but in recent years a beautiful girl called Chloe who i showed but sadly lost at just 2.5 years old to an AI disease, never quite got over losing her.

My last girl i showed, she is now 7.5 years & said i would never get another one as could not stand the pain of losing them BUT...................then along came Ellie.

I thought Ellie looked familiar - our 5 mth little girl looks very much like her, is called Ella and her dad is Collooney Silver Jigolo !!! (w00t)

Yes, just found Ella you are right, very similar, obviously related somewhere.

Hi Emma, just seen your beautiful girl very well done on your win, much deserved.

Yes the affies are hard work, if only they stayed in puppy coats forever life would be a doddle!

Spent 4.5 hours yesterday bathing, drying & grooming them both & just got back from a 2 hour walk round the lakes now & they look like the scruffiest dirtiest mongrels you have ever seen

Hey ho, hounds will be hounds, i think thats when they are happiest. They've crashed out now on the patio so can stay looking like mongrels till their bath next week!
