Beautiful ears there- almost as impressive as Molly's (she was starved as a puppy so she never grew the skull to mount her ears on and they have never looked in proportion).

Please give them a skritch off me and Molly :)

When I first got Molly she was 10 months old and was so thin she fitted through a cat flap, which is very wrong for a 10 month old GSD. She weighs 40kg now, and is also long haired so she looks twice the size she actually is.

ahhhh, so glad you got her and sounds like she is thriving now :)

Willows ears are quite impressive arnt they? hopefully she will grow into them..she is only 8 months so still growing..willow was 25kg.the last time she was weighed about 3 weeks ago.almost the same as her siblings which is fab because her siblings are male and willow was the runt and was bottle fed :) ...sometimes she just looks pure collie..when her ears are down and she does the 'collie crawl' for belly rubs..but as soon as she sits up straight or she hears something her ears shoot up and she looks all germanshepherdy :)

Yes, she's got a very good full shep look when she's being alert :) I love shep ears, and their beautiful eyelashes, and the crimped bits of fur behind their ears, and their eyebrows, and.... (for this read, I'm a sucker for a smiley face and some pointy ears!)

Molly will be 9 in a few months, so she's getting to be rather an old lady and has slowed down suddenly, showing her age. I miss the excitable young dog stage she was in when we first got her, so savour Willow's puppydom while she's still in it.

Ohh poor Molly..i know just how you feel, my beautiful old boy is 15 and its heartbreaking to see him have old creaky days. We are taking him to the beach at the weekend because its his fav place and I know it will perk him up

I know what you mean about her eye lashes..and her fluffy bits are just starting to come through..although she looks jet black she actually has come through brown on her legs and the fluffy bits have come through brown..really wanted a full gsd and never ever wanted a collie..but Willow is perfect. She is as mad as a box of frogs but learns quickly and is eager to please..we love her so much and we wouldn't be without her. We loved the puppy bit..the teenage stage is a nightmare..but she could be worse and she makes me laugh.more than she makes me want to strangle her..so its all good xxx
