I wonder if it is ok to post this? We have had no interest in this youngster and it seems so unfair for him to be cooped up in kennels when he could be being out and about having a life.

This stunning lad was picked up straying in Herefordshire a few weeks ago, he is now with us in kennels in Herefordshire.

Hamish is little more than a puppy, he is a needy lad who adores a cuddle and fuss.

He is excellent with other dogs, loves people big and small, not good with cats.

Hamish is vaccinated, wormed, flead and microchipped. He will be neutered early next week.

If you would like to meet Hamish please ring 01885 482967 or e mail hwanimalrescue@aol.com

Oh he is gorgeous and the name Hamish suits him so much!!! How tall is he? He looks kind of whippet-sized

aaah well photos can be deceptive and in fact Hamish is much bigger than that! Big lurcher size - not as tall as a male greyhound but as tall as a female grey.

When I posted the pic I had not actually seen him, so couldn't have hazarded a guess.

...but guess what - fantastic news.... a lady we know turned up at the kennels today and chose him...so it's hurrah for Hamish!!! and fingers crossed everything goes well for him from now on. :))

Fantastic news!! He's a lovely lucky boy  :luck: :luck:

What a smashing chap  - hope he settles well in his new home :luck: :huggles:

good luck to Hamish in his new for ever home

Oh nooo - Hamish is coming back. He has proved too much for one of the older dogs in the household :(

He has however apparently also been found to be cat friendly so maybe that's a bonus?

So Hamish is still waiting for his forever settee. He is a happy waggy playful boy if anybody has room for such a lump. :)
