Zoomie and Milly were playing rough today. Milly stood on him so he was hanging from her throat by his teeth as they ran past me outside.... so far quite normal behaviour... then Zoomie charged back in with this look on his face ..

I reckon Milly pushed him down the rock garden...

His little leg had an [SIZE=14pt]ENORMOUS HUGE TEAR [/SIZE]in it at least the size of my little fingernail (w00t) and it was GUSHING BLOOD.... at least an quarter teaspoonful :teehee:

(He didn't need artificial resus. but I snogged him anyway just for being a drama queen.)

Soooooo.... we rushed off to the vet, driving straight lines through all the bends, sirens blasting (well, Beethoven on the stereo) and averaging 90 mph....

(w00t) And now he has his very own STITCH!!!!! Just the one.

He was soo brave but he's sulking now because he only had a local anaesthetic and says it was AGONY, not to mention being scruffed for the anti-biotic shot

My poor wee baby. A stitch. I'm not worthy. The guilt. Tomorrow I'm going straight out to buy him a train set to make up for all the upset................ :clown: :teehee: :lol: :wub: :wub: :wub:

WELL, poor Zoomie (w00t) . 1st the Milly-Lab needs to do penance (w00t) . Giving up at least 3 meals to poor Zoom. Then you need to wait on him paw and foot for a suitable time ( A month should do it). Then of course he will need to be carried outside ( assuming it isn't too cold). Then of course he will have to have convalesence.................
