Good day to all fellow racers.

Had a great time yesterday at Harvel. Weather was superb, hot and sunny in a lovely setting. Lots of members were present and the officials I cannot speak more highly of. We managed to get Saucey Madam checked out for bend racing after doing some nice trials. Her daughter,Henrietta, clearly has not read the bend racing script though. She, prefering to leave the track part way round before joining the real racers in the free for all at the finish. After a lot of head scratching and pondering by the officials , we did manage to get her round in her final run of the day and having decided to quit while we were ahead we hope we can progress further at the next meeting :) . My boy ZORRO, has no such problems, totally unfazed by the curve, he won the cons. final in some style and got himself a shield fer his efforts. What a lad he is (w00t) . This is a picture of him approaching the finish in his final.

For any Harvel racers, the pics for the club meeting on 28 Aug 06 are now displayed in Lampys Pics. Many thanks as ever to OLIVERPLIERS. :*

Hiya Scott. Would love to have been. Bramble though is having difficulty forgetting her coursing background so we need to get her organised before we travel long distances. But we could well pay you a visit next year (w00t) . We are racing with the Lancs folks next Sunday. Are you comin'? (w00t) (w00t) .Good to hear from you Scott.

Hi Lesley. Yep. ZORRO's doing ok. As for a challenge ., we will wait and see :) Bramble has lost the plot somewhat (w00t) but she can still beat Zorro on the strait ten times out of ten. Looking forward to seeing you all again and the extended friends from Hof E on the 10th. Should be a great day. I was practising yesterday. I managed 2 steak and kidney pies whilst racing. How does that rate?? . Does my vest have to have holes in it?? I do need to be clued up on the finer points of racing in the north and that I will be judged on how I dress. I used to have a checked quilted shirt like the Parkstoner :- " but I wore it twice then gave it up for a dogs bed. Couldn't compete with Roberts :teehee:

Clear the M62, lAMPY'S on his way. (w00t) (w00t)
