I know someone did a similar thread a while back but I can't find it

When I only had boy dogs I used to clean the patio flags with soapy hot water and once a week used Jeyes and there was never a smell. However since having Emmy there is a definite wee aroma that I can smell on the days I haven't used Jeyes. Jeyes is pretty expensive to use every day - so can anyone recommend anything else, please?

I use Zoflora, it is quite concentrated so make sure you follow the directions on the box, in addition I never let the dogs out until it has dried, but I'm sure that goes for all cleaners.

I use lavender & eucalyptus oil diluted in water.Perfectly safe,no nasty chemicals & gets rid of the smell!

Hi,

It was me that started the thread last summer.I tried everything. We were recommended TPMS,disinfectant and deodorisor.

£8.99 for 5 litres. You dilute it,i use mine in a watering can,and jet wash with it occasionally. It smells of bubblegum, and is safe for animals.

If you go on thier website you can browse the catalogue, they do loads of otherstuff too, then ring with the order, delivery was about£3.99 for a box of two, which lasts about 2 months.

Perhaps worth a try.

Cheers everyone :))

Will try some of this stuff out and report back for the next person who asks the question!

Biological washing powder. Sprinkle it round then hose it down.

I also add a good dollop of Ariel Excel Gel to the mop bucket in the kennels.

Probably one of the best tips I've ever picked up on K9.
