Anyone have a Patterdale?

I have had one in the past... he was a gorgeous little fluff ball and wow was he feisty

We went to the rescue centre and didn't know he was Patt, he looked cute and believe or not, he was the best behaved dog there in terms of barking and kicking up a fuss. He played us like a fiddle! I oscillate between keeping him and re-homing him. He's two and a half and we've had him for 5 months. We are struggling with this dog. Whatever happens, we won't put him back in a rescue centre.

Good luck from me too. My friend was a first time dog owner with 3 pampered pedigree cats when she got the patterdale. I admit I winced when she said she was getting a pup and even more so when I knew what breed she had chosen!

She found it incredibly hard at the beginning but it did all come good in the end

There is a year in my dog's life that is unaccounted for and I think he was a ratter or something, so we're fighting that as well as his reactivity. At least with a puppy she knew what his life was.
