If you had the chance to shelve your worst pet hates, what would they be?

People that litter is one of my pet hates  - they are also likely to be the ones that then complain how awful everywhere looks!

indicating to turn right when at a roundabout and not remembering/bothering, to indicate left when getting to the correct exit.

Like Mad Murphy, I'm not a mind reader!!

similar to prior complaints - people who complain about dog poop from our therapy dogs but dont say a peep about the FOREST of cigarette butts on the ground.

EDIT: to clarify, therapy says they pick up and its the visitors who arent... but even SO.... this is a nursing home, the dogs are for the residents... the cigarette butts are just for your own cancer.

I have another one which is dog related....

I can't believe how many people will allow their dogs to approach the dog I am walking when I have very obviously given signals that the dog shouldn't be approached (Both problematic dogs are entire males) I put the dog on the lead and either take an alternative route or pull them to one side and gather their attention.

If I ever see anyone act this way I always put Dennis on the lead until we've passed out of curtesy.

Oh lord save me from the 'dogs love me' idiots, even though I warn people Murphy is not good with strangers they lean forward into his face and hold out a hand and coo in a silly voice 'oh but Im alwight arent I? oh he knows I just want a cuddle' .. I feel like slapping them
they are up there with the 'my dog just wants to be friends'type

It's so frustrating! I just can't understand how people cannot read the signals or understand that what you say is true

Agree with both the above, I get it when walking a couple of my dogs with issues who I have on a lead, if I call to the approaching dogs owner to call their dog back please I generally get the response ' it's ok my dog is friendly' so then I have to say 'yes, but mine isn't!!' and by that time there could be a potential problem .. If someone asks me to call my dog back I assume there is a reason and just do it, I don't feel the need to question it.

I hate people using abbreviations to replace words! it is the laziest form of writing and texting, certainly not clever. It can take a long time researching to find out what is meant.!!
