Thanks Jo. I don't think he does have a heart problem - most likely diagnosis is either Petit Mal, or 'just one of those things' - but I'd never forgive myself if I didn't get his heart checked.

Thanks, and I totally agree. In fact I'd be surprised if this dog turns out to have a heart problem, a lot of whippets are disgnosed with heart murmurs by non specialists when in fact their hearts are just fine. But as he collapsed at the weekend (the syncopal episode) even though he recovered...

Recently Taran sustained a little ear nick and I put a human sticky plaster on it ... the square sort, folded in half so that it encased the tip of his ear and was stuck to itself at the sides. I only tried it as a last resort but it worked brilliantly :D I took it off after a couple of days...
