Dora has had her puppies. She is Gracie's sister and one of TerraquinnxEllie litter. On new years eve she had 5 puppies but needed a c-section on new years day to deliver the final 2 who unfortunately did not survive. All are absolutely adorable and both Mum and pups are doing well. Pics to follow.

Pup 1 - Fawn with blue muzzle female 12oz

Pup 2 - Brindle male 13oz

Pup 3 - Fawn and white with black mask male 12oz

Pup 4 - Brindle and white female 9oz

Pup 5 - Fawn and white with black mask 7 oz
 
glad to hear Dora is doing alright and the 5 remaining pups look forward to the pics :wub: :wub:
 
Glad Dora and her 5 pups are OK. Sorry you lost the two little ones. Good luck for their future, and keep us updated with pics :D
 
Here are a couple of pics to start. This is the first day they were born. Having weighed them today they have doubled their birth weight!! Little chubbers :D

He is a blue brindle whippet, Skyechi Rythmandblues. His sire was Osterfen Beacon beige and dam was Veredon vanity case. He belongs to my boss and has a fantastic temperament aswell as good looks! His line has mainly been used for showing rather than racing. More pics to follow :D
 
What a lovely looking litter,some nice colours there, i see you have a brindle parti that looks like my boy finley ....shes beautiful :wub: :wub: :wub:

Thank you! I know I'm biased but I think they are all gorgeous! I want to keep them all :eek:

Think we've decided on keeping the blue fawn girl, Evie. Will put up some more pics soon :)

I think racers know of Dora more than show people really.

Her siblings being Peppermint Lass and Cairdean Born Slippy and sire being WCRCh Terraquinn so I think it’s probably the best forum for the post.imo

Congratulations Dora & Michelle it’s a pity you lost 2 but Dora and the remaining puppies look good. :wub:

The brindles are my favourites I think they look stunning. :wub:

Is your boss going to keep one?

I found Dora on this website and enjoy reading all the posts here which is why I used this section. I was going to race Dora originally but I found I dont really know enough about it so was too worried to do it! Thanks for the good luck message, fingers crossed they stay as good as they are now! :)
 
Thank you. I think they are all lovely!! Yes my boss would like the fawn and white boy or the red fawn girl.

They havent decided yet tho. Its sad that the last 2 werent alive, she had the first 5 without any probs at all but pup 6 was very big and unfortunately had got stuck on his way out. He was a lovely silver brindle and pup 7 was a fawn and white girl. Trying not to dwell too much on it tho and focus on the litter and Dora! Hopefully I'll get some more pics up soon. Thanks for your message.

yes I agree best not to dwell on the two you lost the five remaining are lovely and Dora looks very pleased with herself bless her :)

I understand Runaround is in the breeding? A good friend of ours the late Mrs June Cross was Runaround and her boy Robin was my husband's fav dog. Lovely to see some of Robin's progeny looking so beautiful!

Yes ellie is a runaround bitch will speak to my mum and find out who her sire and dam were but the lady who bred her does produce some cracking looking whippets.
