Cant wait weather been spot on today & the same tomorrow track is in great nick oh & they do a fantastic pint in club lol always a cracking weekend look forward to seeing you all :thumbsup:
 
Just left the track now 4/5 caravans here already :thumbsup:

Track marked and fenced off, if anyone turns up and the barrier is closed porky and lisa have the key.

Traps are 34" long x 10" wide, Lin's measurements must be for kickboard. The trap floors are rubber and there's loads of extra rubber flooring too should it be needed.

Directions:

From M6 coming from the North

Leave M6 at Junction 23, follow for Manchester A580, turn left at crossroads (signposted Astley, A572 - Higher Green Lane), at the end of this road turn left onto Manchester Road, at mini roundabout go straight across, next junction turn right onto Princes Avenue, take 3rd left onto Ley Road. Gin Pit Club at the top of this road.

From M6 coming from the South

Leave M6 at Junction 22, 3rd exit from roundabout, follow right to the end of Winwick Lane, Right at traffic lights which will take you to another set of lights on the A580, turn right, follow for Manchester A580, turn left at crossroads (signposted Astley, A572 - Higher Green Lane), at the end of this road turn left onto Manchester Road, at mini roundabout go straight across, next junction turn right onto Princes Avenue, take 3rd left onto Ley Road. Gin Pit Club at the top of this road.

From M62 coming from the North - Leave at juc 14

From Jct 14 follow slip round, this will take you straight onto A580 (signposted Leigh / St Helens) past set of traffic lights with Queens Arms Pub on right, at next junction turn right (signposted Astley, A572 - Higher Green Lane), at the end of this road turn left onto Manchester Road, at mini roundabout go straight across, next junction turn right onto Princes Avenue, take 3rd left onto Ley Road. Gin Pit Club at the top of this road.

Results will probably be out tomorrow as were all getting ready for race night but wanted to announce there's a further £100 sponsorship been donated to tomorrow's open courtesy of Mr Stuart Killgallon of C&G commercials!!

Many thanks for this generous donation!

Further added prize money going in tomorrow courtesy of the race night proceeds.

There's also a football card on the go tomorrow with a payout of £100!

Some brilliant racing all day (full report later) with the weather being very kind to us, an excellent night in the club last night made possible by all that attended, VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

Sun is shining once again today and we're all looking forward to another pleasant day's racing.
 
Had a great day yesterday, track was superb. All the hounds enjoyed their Cobbydog supper. Little Rosemary was done in and slept all the way home (no whining! (w00t) ).

Sadly not back today, double booked this afternoon with a family Sunday dinner. Hope the turnout is great and everyone has a good time.
