i know what you went through,my dog was put to sleep after being attacked by a staff.....you're in my thoughts and so is Inca...give her a hug from me.

they always say their dog never did that before and even if it hasn't it doesn't really help your dog a whole lot.

My gran bred champion staffs and won loads of prises with them, she said how gentle they are with humans but, don't let them near any other dogs. Then when I mentioned I was going to get a whippet she said, "hmm, why don't you get a staff?" I think this is a great reason not to get a staff. The tosser in the park obviously hasn't bothered socializing or training the dog has he? Hope there is some way you can sue him & get him to pay for veterinary expenses. Sorry to hear of your trauma :huggles:

Hellybobs, I really feel for you having gone through this all before with my beloved Chip (now at Rainbow Bridge in 2004) in a similar horrendous attack, with the same breed.

I do hope Inca gets over this fully and recovers well :huggles: :luck: - so sending my best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Thanks for your well wishes.

She's still very sore and swollen but had a comfortableish night.

She's stopping home with her daddy today, whilst I take Dippy out.

I hope poor inca on the mend give her a big hug from us. I get so mad a t peoepl who arnt carefull with there dogs we have Ruby now and I am not 100% about her with other dogs so to save any hassle i pop a muzzle on her its not hard and now shes out of seaon I will get out of my pit and a sunday morning and take her to traning to socialis her. If you have a dog you have to protect others from it and traine it and if you dont you must pay the consices. I hope hes paying the vet bill he might think bout it more if he has to cough up the doe

:huggles: :huggles: to Inca it must have been awful. Hope she is well on the mend.

And do you know what the bloke said..."its never done it before."
You should have kicked him in the bollocks and said "that's funny i've never done that before either, now where do i sent the vet bill".

Paul

I am so sorry to hear about poor Inca's nightmare! I do hope she recovers quickly and it does'nt leave her too mentally scarred, when it happened to our Mos that was my worse fear...I have to say though it was unfounded and he is fine now.

I know it sounds awful but I really dread meeting SBT's on walks, and at shows I always avoid them,I know there are people out there now shouting it's not the dogs it's the owner, but I just don't want to take that risk of an accident happening, after all they are a very powerful dog.

Lots of cuddles to Inca and I hope that Aimee has'nt been too upset by the whole experience. :huggles: :huggles:

Inca was a bit unhappy last night and wanted to be as close to as possible but today she's been ok. The swellings gone down a bit and she's able to wear her collar again.

Aimee's just about got over it thankfully.

I've had it suggested that I introduce her to a friendly staffie I know, so that she doesn't get fear aggressive (think thats what they said??) of the bread...what do you all think???

Glad to hear Inca is getting over her terriable fright . :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

it sounds absolutely terrifying for u all  glad to hear that things are slowly getting back together again, and hopefully both your little girl and pooche will not be mentally scared by the stupid man and dog. hugz to your family :*

Oh How Id love to have some owners `put down `

Took Harvee and Mikkee for a run today and these girls let a bull mastiff run over to us  So I let both my dogs off the lead , you should have seen the bl**dy thing trying to catch them (w00t) ( it was a secure area so I knew they would just do circles ;) I had `words with them , but they thought it great fun , they then decide to `harrass` a guy with a labrador .

Hope Inca makes a full recovery , and your little girl too
