Colts Latest Injury...

Dont worry John, he will run again, and will win again. He will be ok in a little while. Nothing will keep that Dog down.

sorry to hear that john,

hope he recovers well. and was nice but brief seeing you on sat.

Poor boy , hope he recovers well :luck: :luck: :luck:

Sorry to read about colts toe, i hope he is recovering,

My racing greyhound bitch smashed one of her toes and had it amputated but came back after six weeks and went on to win her first race back, so i think colt will do the same, he sounds like a dog that doesn't give up,

best wishes and hope all goes well

Kerri would like to welcome Colt to the "missing back toe" club :D

She did hers when she was about 5 and a half, flying run (as it always is) and won the race only to hold her back foot up with a toe dangling around underneath.

She's now 7 and a half and "retired" at 7 but has come out again for puppy schooling (she's loving it - lack of toe doesn't cause her any problems at all)

thats abit of bad luck mate glad hes back on the mend again he was really flying at selby aswell

Im sorry to hear about colt's wee toe......glad he's feeling ok though xxxxx

Ive taken him to the vet this morning and had the worst news on his damaged toe. As suspected hes totally ruptured the tendon holding his right hind leg outside toe. Only option was to have his toe removed. Hes under anaesthetic already and should be home tonight .

Ive obviously opened my big mouth too soon after saying i hadnt seen him run as fast for nearly 2 years.
hope big colt makes a speedy recovery and travels well for you alda best at wales

Sorry to hear this john :(
