Phoned mum this evening shes very upset, after spending 7 hours in A&E she then spent a night in a corridor on a trolley only to be told by a doctor at 7am that she could go home and would be discharged. At that point she lost it big time and screamed that the hospital would have to drag her out...
Can we just say, (before everyone vanishes for the festive season..) Merry Christmas.
We hope you all have a good time whatever you are doing or however you are spending the holidays.
May this year leave you nothing but happy memories and may the new one bring you peace and happiness.
@JudyN thanks at least I know she is safe and wont fall down the stairs or anything..
I must say that walk looks a bit adventurous... be careful wont you...
Mums back in hospital again..This is her third stay.. Im glad. I know that sounds bad but its the best place for her even though they do nothing. In Nov she had an infection which they cleared with antibiotics and sent her home. They notice a leaky heart valave and said they would keep a close...
I would just say to anyone who leaves their dog ouside a shop or in an unlocked car/ garden / camping...Anyone who thinks it doesnt happen where I live... It does.
Ours is a province of farmers and small towns mine is the capital city and is only 100,000 people. We leave our back doors unlocked...

It really makes me angry on the owners behalf, they saw Sem born, theyve had Bo since she was 8 weeks old. Of course they are blaming themselves for not locking the gate, watching out better etc. As for the mindset of anyone who could do this I dont understand them and I wouldnt want to...
I invested in a real looking nordmann spar about 8 years ago. It had a 10 year warrenty on it and I worked out that if I paid €20 a year for a tree I would be quits round about now..
The tree still looks good and I pack it away each year with cinnamon sticks and a tree scented smelly thing so...
So tomorrow is two weeks and Im am really happy with how things are going for Murphy and the CBD oil. The fireworks are getting more frequent now and unless they are really close by he seems failry unphased by them. He is much calmer with strange dogs and even a man who appeared from a gate...
Thanks, we are lucky in a way, our garden is at the side of the house but very well fenced so no one can get in plus we never leave him alone outside . Added to that Murphy does not like strangers so he wouldnt willingly go off with a stranger. Each one of these dogs has been taken from houses...
Two years ago a stabij pup called Yfke went missing from a village nearby, people searched fields canals and ditches for months and then suddenly she turned up in a ditch drowned.
Before her there was another dog who vanished and also turned up drowned.
Then on 30th of Oct Bo 6 and Sem 3...
Weve had Murphy since a pup and yet, plastic bin liners used to make him climb the walls.. We had to put the bin liner in while he was in the other room..
Hay bales appearing in the fields set him off too and my neighbour ( thankyou so much..idiot ) scared him when he was little, so big men or...
I saw that nature lover and broadcaster David Bellamy has died... I so enjoyed his shows as a child, I think it was his obvious love of what he was doing and his enthusiasm that was contagious... RIP ....
I think this ^^^is one factor that has to be taken in to account when people ask 'what is the best food', its all very well trotting out what experts say is the best or what works the best for others (mine also have raw) but in the end its what works best for your dog that is really the best...
