My dog Maya is a funny wee thing. She can be quite nervy. She is afraid of:
Football or rugby commentary on TV.
Alexa (terrified of Alexa!)
Hoover...ok, that's quite normal.
Some men but never of women.

We have no idea of why she is frightened of football or some men because we have had her since a pup and she has never had a negative experience with either of these things with us. The Alexa, I am sure there is something she can hear that we don't.

Yet, she doesn't turn a hair at fireworks, power drill or other sports commentary!

Oh....and she doesn't like Queen or Meatloaf!

Aren't they funny? My dog is scared when the conservatory roof blinds are being opened or shut.... And he was really freaked by some bollards in the local subway yesterday!

@Mayasmum I have a lab and he’s the same.
Absolutely fine with fireworks, thunder and loud cars but if he spots the curtains blowing when a window has been left open then it’s the worst thing in the world!

He also doesn’t like the ironing board (not that he sees it very often!)

Weve had Murphy since a pup and yet, plastic bin liners used to make him climb the walls.. We had to put the bin liner in while he was in the other room..
Hay bales appearing in the fields set him off too and my neighbour ( thankyou so much..idiot ) scared him when he was little, so big men or people with brooms, mops, crutches etc..
