Flo has chicken and rice one- mixed with her fish kibble! she luurrvves it, sometimes as supper i warm it a little- 10 secs in microwave and it settles her for the night- spoilt :D
but they smell yukky, apparently they are cooked in pouch- lots of nice oil in them too- quite moist when not...
There'll probably be no chance of the dog getting used to the ferrets now, it something that we get our dogs used to when very small- as young as poss.
I wouldnt risk it at all- if it doesnt kill the ferret it may ruin its rabbit flushing technique- ie- not wanting to come out incase a hungry...
hi there- love your pup!
I'd advise you get a book on the breeds that Gizmo is- and not leave him and your daughter together at all - he may be too rough or your daughter may be! they dont mean any harm- but any bad behaviour needs observing and correcting before bad habits develop
yes- its very sad but why does this person have to create multiple members- all pretending to be matey with each other. You can come on here and not be a dog owner- just have an interest in them- i did at first!
just started as season has started really, she's quite an independant character- terrier of course!
so this is very out of ordinary for her
i think she's rebelling also- naughty teenager stage.....
Flo is having her first season, she has become very clingy and follows me around alot at moment.
She has also started to cry/bark at night when we first go to bed- this stops after half hour at most.
i was worried and thought that she was developing separation anxiety as me and OH are quite...
what great pics, our dogs called Flo too! shes a terrier, i'd love a chihuahua
can i ask- how is she as a pet? what is her good and bad sides, im seriously thinking of finding my flo a mate :huggles:
mags
wheni have Flo on the lead, we always get big dogs running up to her and cowering over her- Flo
hasnt had the best socialisation- (bad upbringing) and so it really scares her to have these big dogs looming at her, i explain that she hasnt been properly socialised and doesnt like to be jumped...
to give my opinion- my mums lab- 'scotty' is now 15 months, he is planned to be a stud as he's an excellent example of the breed. but if he wasnt going to be a stud dog then he would be castrated around now- as he's FULLY developed
and is starting to be very naughty- ie- escaping from...
my vet has been 'speyed' herself! and she was discussing speying a bitch compared to a human- apparently due to the way the muscles run in people it will definitely hurt more than in dogs.
anyway- what i want to know- is do you spey your bitches after they have finished been used to breed? just...
we've got a dog and are going to be looking for rented accomodation- its going to be hard but there are landlords that will allow pets, you just have to look hard.
im just saying because there could be other options- but i suppose if you dont have much time then its probably not possible.
good...
thanks Zephyr
luckily i work at the vets and am having a good choice of options by asking all the vets i know- some suggest calcium, some antiinflammatories, some operation way, hydrotherapy etc.
fingers crossed x
thanks for your advice
oh and she's just 6/7 months old- just about to come into season too! becoming a very bossy young lady indeed- never owned a terrier before, i was expecting the worst and we got the best i think!
she has learnt obedience very quickly, great on walks, still a little worried about large dogs but...
this is inca- when she was about 3 months old- just love this piccy as she looks like a pixie! they were wild cats born in forest- this was took just after i tamed them... (w00t)
