i know i work at vets and all my animals are biotherm chipped, we hace noticed that the scanners arent detected the chips- we are worried! cos pets could get lost and even tho theyre chipped they wouldnt be located by scanning.... not good.
and yes chips can be cut out quite easily- a falconer...
yes these collars are used- ive seen a few here! obviously not approved though- as in usa.
as dog pulls slightly- the spike bend inwards and pinch skin severely- we put them around our wrists to 'feel' the 'technique' it DID hurt!

Recently a woman came to the vets with her pup- she had got her when she was 5 weeks old- all siblings had died! Bred from farmer- looks like a lakeland x border or irish terrier...
sounds a good idea that i get my pup, then once he's say 6-7 months we will find him a pal :huggles:
