I just hope Cloud my dog doesn't feel left out. He is walking around with a teddy in his mouth most of the time which is a bit worrying as he isn't the father.Bless him. Bet when people come to see the pups he pretends he is!

8???? Dream on!lol I am really looking forward to the pups arriving but I am abit nervous about the birth, I have to admit. I have homes for all the pups and hopefully I will be keeping one as will the owner of the dad. I can't believe my dream has become reality!

I don't know if she will last a whole week. she still loves her walks! I just love watching her tummy move when she lies on her side. She needs extra cuddles and sleeps very deeply, so much so that she snores. Any guesses as to how many pups are in there?

    Twiggy

This is Twiggy when she was 6 weeks pregnant. And the staples in her hind leg were from when she decided to go hunting for 3 hours managing to cross a river (remembering this is the dog who won't even walk through a puddle!!!!)

Wow what a fantastic read. I'm all weepy now and maybe a bit scared of Twig's impending birth. I know I must stay calm though.

    Can Anyone Help?

A little while ago I happened to come across a day to day account of a Whippet through her pregnancy. I think it was called something like "Jess and her puppies" and started off with "my Whippet is 5 weeks pregnant"! Can anyone recall it cos I would love to look at it again and I can't find it?

I will not be allowing Loz in the room during but after, yes! I have 13 people on my waiting list offering great homes Rae. By the way the little Rabbit I found (Slash???) died on Sunday at the Vet Nurse's home!

Just amazing and to feel them under your hand. So exciting. Reckon Whippet births must be the best to witness because of all the different colours they can come in!

Do Whippets always tend to have their puppies in the night? Twig is 8 weeks and today I saw the pups moving in her tummy for the first time. :)

    Ultrasound Scans

Well it cost me double what you paid and I was so excited. Nearly as much as when I was scanned when pregnant. I think I just wanted peace of mind that the pups were developing and breathing. Vet reckons 3, poss 4 pups and they were right up to Twig's sternon!

    Ultrasound Scans

Twiggy had to go to the Vets anyway to be weighed for wormer. It was just a quick decision to get her scanned at the same time. So many people had told me about phantom pregnancies. She loves the vets, her tail never stops wagging in there!

    Ultrasound Scans

Wey you would say that, wouldn't you? You know I'm impatient you conkerbonce!

    Ultrasound Scans

Why what happened? I think for the price the vet charges to do it they could be a bit more reliable!
