A HUGE WELL DONE TO EVERYONE INVOLVED!!
Brackon  and Meg  I'd have you both in a heart beat, but the fat guinea pig (Indi) would throw a fit (w00t)
even though Binx would LOVE to share his bed with Brackon (yes he's gone THAT way since he's had his balls cut off :* )...
Hannah, first of all I wish Inca well, :huggles:
I had a dobermann bitch with suspected Pyom at 9 years of age, I told the vet her last season was 4 months ago, the vet nurse said it couldn't be this then, but desided to operate all the same, (to spay)
I found out that she didn't have this...
yup I feed tripe, I worm my dogs every 3 months anyway so that's no different, for my dogs they thrive on it, good body condition, glossy coat, picture of health,
I buy them in blocks of 24 frozen, then leave one out over night to defrost, it costs me £7.44 for 24 blocks, I use half a block...
Totally agree with you there Dessie, it's just such a shame this sort of thing happens, it's the poor dog that suffers in the end :(
Binx is still calmer than he was before though, which has settled him and me down a lot, we were both feeling a bit stressed out, and he's eating normally now...
Binx arrived home yesterday at 7pm, (supposed to be 3pm) he had a tough time :(
he's very sore and feeling sorry for him self, I'm also upset that I had to put him through this, if he was born with his balls in the right place this wouldn't have happened, and I wouldn't have had to put him...
thanks for the replies and well wishes for Binx, Lesley, Jones, this is only Chances second season also, I thought because Binx didn't bother on her first one he'd be ok with this one too! how stupid was I (w00t) I got it in my head that because he has 2 nuts retained it wouldn't bother him...
well I've gone and done it now rather than later, Binx is at the vet's for his nut's off tomorrow, the house is so quiet and peaceful it's bliss! -_-
I know he'll proberly still try and hump her, but at least it will only be now and then and not every five min's,
I feel it's the best for him...
I'm begining to see why Dawn, Binx is a nightmare at the moment! we have borrowed a cage and put Binx into it so he can still be close to Chance but still the howling and whining continues! it's driving ALL of us up the wall!!!!!
Chance wouldn't stay with anyone, she won't even go for a walk without me, she run's home!
Chance has season's every 10 months so by the next one, Binx will have had his op to remove his retained testies, so hopefully that should calm him down a bit, thanks for the advise though
Thanks Dessie,
Binx has 2 retained testical's so is sterile, even though it doesn't stop him trying to hump her every time she stands up!!
looks like I'll have to just put up with it :(
Hi All,
I need some advise before I go insane!!! Chance came into season 12 day's ago I kept a close eye on her and Binx (even though Binx is sterile) it doesn't stop him trying and he's marking up her back legs trying to hump her,
so I've put Chance into another room and left Binx and Indi...
doesn't sound like a time waster to me, just sounds like she's had her heart broken and her hubby thought getting a new pup straight away would make her better,
but as we all know it's not that simple when you've loved a dog for so long, bet her hubby's feeling pretty guilt about rushing her...
awww she looks like a 'Buttons' with that cute little smudge on her nose
other names I like are:
Izzie, Tabitha, Sukie, Molly cat, Apple, and Jessie,
if you call her Apple you'll know that no-one has that name for sure! and it's cute too :D
gorgeous!! that first close up shot of the blue, looks like a twin from my Chance when she was born, even has the little white star on it's chest,
that's my dream litter, blue's and blacks
