Claire's death hit me hard and it's been difficult picking myself up again. I've lost pets before but I wasn't prepared for this. The weather seems to have matched my mood but today the sun has come out and I'm beginning to feel a bit better. :) I've tried not to let the other dogs know how...

My greyhound Claire died today. In the last 3 or 4 weeks she had aged rapidly and went downhill fast. Today I had no option but to take her to the vet and let her gently go to sleep. I shall miss her funny ways. :(
