    Whisper's wanders

We use this on her lead to make it obvious that she is on a lead. Every little helps

What foods won't your dog eat?

My hens and rats love banana but never thought of feeding a banana to a dog ! I will try it today. The only thing Whisp won't eat is prawns, they disturb her

    Dogs sunbathing

I use baby sun cream on my lurcher's pink bits (under side) as she likes to lie on her back on the grass in full sun. She will decide to go in the shade if she gets too hot.

The tooth fairy killed my hamster

My first pet was Sweety the hamster. One night I put a tooth under my pillow and went to sleep. When I woke up I looked under my pillow for the 50p that I was owed by the tooth fairy...., nothing. My Dad said "maybe she got stuck in Sweetie's cage" I went to look for her in the cage and found...

    Footpath/Cycle track rider today. GRRRRRR

We have afew cyclists near us that have thier dogs in toe as well, so if a dog and a cyclist rushes past we end up going for a jog instead of a walk :emoji_astonished:. Good for the heart I suppose.

Why don't you go somewhere else!

Whisp doesn't care what falls out of the sky as long as she gets her walk she is happy.

To squeek or not to squeek

Never thought of using a squeaker for recall! Whisper can't be trusted off lead yet as her prey drive is so strong and she is nervous of other dogs (she has bite scars on her nose so we think she has been in a fight!) , but will use the squeaker in training and see how it goes.

Why don't you go somewhere else!

So true! We didn't see another soul on our walk this morning as it was raining. Do people just not walk thier dogs on rainy days ?

Why don't you go somewhere else!

'hi... my dog is contagious' Ha! I might use this line today and see what results we get. We had a small yapster following us for a while yesterday on thewalk, it was completely obsessed with my dog and it's owner was just chatting on her phone ignoring the situation. Guess wherever you go...

To squeek or not to squeek

Are squeeky toys good or bad for dogs? I've heard it can be too stimulating and may strengthen their predatory drive. But also that they can be good enrichment and can make human implements less interesting to chew and destroy. What do you think ?

    Cat kibble

Oooh that liver cake will go down very well thank you!

    Cat kibble

Afew dogs in Whisper's dog walking group are given cat kibble as treats, one owner tried her with some and she seemed to absolutely love it. Is there anything wrong with this as long as it's just used a training treat?

Why don't you go somewhere else!

Sorry I didnt explain that very well. This is not an "off leash" place it's a public park where people walk thier dogs on and off leads.
