    3 weeks post op and splint off surgeon worried about muscle and bandage damage!!, leg looks sore and red will post pics tomorrow but now he must stay calm for 3 weeks!!!!!!!

    My other half put his bootie on this am and made him yelp, hope 2 goodness he hasn't caused any damage, come home now seems ok reluctant to put any weight on it but then hasn't been anyway, worrying all the same :unsure:

    Stitche's out wound healed, leg looks like chicken drumstick there is some scabs and one or two vulnerable areas but over all we are all pleased and he was able to put a littlw weight on it, ;) next bandage change next week, will post some photo's . Vet also cut some off end of splints so...

    Got him a baby blue bootie!!, it's got pimple bits on the bottom to give grip!

    I keep checking his leg for bandage and pressure bandage as worried about that, i have seen some pressure ulcers and they are very difficult to heal x all best wish's, hugs etc are being delivered and he loves it x, his pain killers are reducing slowly and he seems fine but taking it very...

    He has a sock on the end we have padded top with sponge I check it every day for pressure problems, he is getting more confident with it my tiny tim! :wub: x

    Have put a sock over the end but I have got a woollen riding glove with grips on palm so may try this, oh and he is back in blue x

    He now has a plastic splint strapped to his leg but it is longer then his toes so he is walking on the plastic which is fine on carpet, concrete and in the garden but on a tiled floor it's like skating on ice!! any suggestions would be helpfull could I strap something to the bottom to give grip...
