I had the same thing with my 8 year old spaniel a few weeks back, only on her tummy I too thought it may be the start of something awful. It turned out to be just an 'old age fatty lump', same as Mazza's dog in the post above. Fingers and paws crossed thats all all that's wrong with Sprout too...
 OH sorry Beth, I just can't stop laughing, wicked Zephyr   poor Maple Syrup, R.I.P............. again. Nice to see a recent pic of the handsome one
My ckc spaniel has regular ear problems too, nearly always the left one and it has a black waxy discharge that often turns into an infection. I'm going to try Thornit too.
Hope poor Cassie is more comfortable soon :)
Hello, welcome to k9.
Nice to hear you have hens too there are quite a few of us on here, maybe we should ask Nigel for a ' General discussion Poultry ' forum :D !!If you would like your hens and whippy to freerange in peace together, then I would most definately start as you mean to go on...
He really is a great colour Nicola, looking forward to watching him grow up. He's a lucky little man with all those wonderful walks to look forward to :)
