I was always lead to believe that a non ped was basically a whippet with greyhound blood? (maybe a 1st/2nd/3rd cross etc) so that means they are "long dogs?" but almost bred out, but...

there were infact only 8 months old in that photo, so have change alot since then.
They look quite greyhoung/whippety (only very good judges have ever spoteed they have a slight hint on saluki and only when ears pricked up. and thank god dont have the spread out saluki toes)

My girls are 16months now and have run a few puppy classes at lurcher shows and had a little play round at highgate. all of which they loved and did well in :)

they are a mix of greyhond x whippet with a "hint "of saluki in
So can they race in non peds?

we do have one of those with the infra lamp in, and its quite new too, but ours dosnt seem to give out much heat? Its one of the best makes and the bulb we bought was twice as much as the standard bulbs and it still dosnt seem to give you much heat?

spry my lurcher has developed a small pea sized umbilical hernia (or im guessing so)
its fairly hard (not like my old dogs hernia)
she had a phantom pregnancy about 1 month ago - and there was def no sign of it then. Its just grown sooooo quick,
shes due for her annual jab soon so will show...

her litter sister has just come out of season too but shes fine. We used to have a norfolk terrier who used to have a phantom and she was hormonal but Spry hasnt been at all, just the bigger nips! lol
