Just came on to say, Thank you ladies and gents for a lovely day! cant believe it went by so quickly!!
some really good runs, lovely sunshine, lovely people cant ask for more!
we use plastic bags for the lure or a bunch off barrier tape.
i usually dont hold the button down the full course, its a sort of, on-off-on-off-on-off to keep it close to the dogs, also have my foot on the line partly to stop it tangling and the other part to put a bit of pressure on it so i...
not sure but maybe vet bills are just a round about term for all the "vet" stuff the puppies will need ie, dew claws, vet checks, worming stuff like that??
ill see if i can whip up some stuff to sell
Just wanted to say a Huge thank you to Historic scotland, for letting us hosting the event!!

love the fact its on wheels and has the battery in it!
my one is quite heavy and has to be carried or put on a trolly, then you have to carry the battery aswell
havnt done it for a while, but i used to use photobucket,
join with them then upload your photos there, once they are there they have like links under them (url) for copying and pasting in here, then all you do is paste the link in the message box or your sig box and udpate it and the pic...
eve i remember back in holyrood days, i used to tie treat bags to the lure, cuddly toys and i once soaked a rope bag in a load of liver and mince and used that as the lure (w00t) (w00t) (w00t)

i have to disagree with this, as i give my dogs piriton and it works wonders for bee stings!!
3 times now star has come in with swollen face (she likes to eat bees) and on advice from a vet nurse we gave her half a table of piriton and within 30mins her face is back to normal.
i was told by a lady years ago about a spray that your could get which masks the smell, she swore by it, i can not for the life of me remember what it was called, maybe someone else knows?
hope you have a nice holiday though xx
i was going to say if you flap your arms and do lots of excited loud noises while running the other way, your pup should stop and come back (w00t)

i had a similar problem,
i found it was to do with the fact smokey knew the end of the walk was coming, so i started piriodically(sp) putting him back on the lead for no real reason through out the walk, usually just call them all over, put him on the lead and walk for 5mins and let him off...
