Thank God for people like you. Lily is absolutely gorgeous, the poor little soul must have been in dire straights to develop a habit like that. It is so kind of you to take on an oldie, not many do.

I have followed this topic with interest.
When we chip our rescue dogs, we (along with several other rescues) put our details as second contact, but if the owner wishes to change these details there is nothing we can do to stop them. I would love to see the rescues or breeders details staying...
If you had a bigger bed you would need more whippets to fill it!!

Sandra's little Holly has been found dead.
It seems that she has been trapped in a narrow gap between a neighbours house and an outbuilding. Ladders were stored in it - the neighbour went to get the ladders out and found Hollys body, it looks like she has been there since the night she went...

2 friends had litters due over Christmas, one is the litter with the small puppy that I have already posted, the other was due to have a litter of Gordon Setter puppies - she was definitely in whelp at 6 weeks but no puupies arrived on 29/12 - she was taken to the vets on 30/12 and the puppies...

My friends bitch gave birth to 7 puppies a couple of days ago, they all weigh 11 ozs except 1, he was 7.25 ozs and looks really tiny up to the others. He is suckling really well and almost always gets the best teats! He is also being supplemented with a bottle by his 2 legged mum!
