Princess Sophie is a beautiful delicate little whippet/collie x. Sadly, instead of living in a palace as a proper Princess should, Sophie has spent much of her 7 years shut in a small cage in a dark shed, along with more than 20 other dogs.
Luckily for Sophie she and the other dogs were eventually rescued from their prison. Sophie found her way into Greyhound Gap's care, and to a foster home with a lovely lady called Corrine, where she has started to learn the world isn't so scary a place after all. She has done very well with basic Princess deportment stuff, like not peeing inside the house (at least not very often), eating out of a bowl instead of off the floor and running like the wind but still coming back when she is called.
Today Princess Sophie came along for a special visit to our house, where she met my family and other dogs, to see if she might like to come and live with us forever. I am over the moon to announce that Her Royal Highness has decreed that my other dogs aren't too frightening, my daughters are really quite nice and make lots of fuss of her and she gets bits of turkey here, so she would like that very much and will be moving in tomorrow
Please welcome Princess Sophie (I hope Lisa doesn't mind that I have copied her original GGap rehoming picture - or me saying that it really doesn't do her justice, she is such a petite and pretty little girl). I promise I'll get some new pictures of her soon.
