A particularly enjoyable time Ruby and I had was when we walked the Wolds Way last year. All 79 miles of it, altho' not all in one day ;)

Ruby makes her nose sore when burying bones, or biscuits in the house, behind cushions etc. someone called it "carpet burn" lol. But if it is happening just when he plays with the ball maybe you could put a bit of cream on his nose before play to give a bit of protection.

I am a meanie aren't I. :( I did give her a good rub down with the towel though. To be honest she doesn't care when she is running about, just when we had the photo shoot. I have taken a light waterproof for her on other days, but, of course, it didn't rain then.

Ruby, (with me following more slowly :D ) has now walked more than half of the Yorkshire Wolds National Trail from the Humber Bridge at Hessle. We hope to finish this trail soon at Filey Brigg. :luck: We have been accompanied by my friend Jill, and on some days with her labrador Maizee...
