I find your post in bad taste to be honest and for me at least you cross the line. If you wanna talk about crufts talk about the dog NOT the sexual orientation of its owners. In fact its not the fact you mention their sexuality but the way you talk about it that i find particularly offensive...
Totally agree with mazza n chris. I dont believe mazza was attacking the individual per se, but what he believes and indeed what was printed is 'very' incorrect and gives those reading the article the wrong impression of what 'actually' happens to many ex-racers.
does this apply to all dogs? what if your vet decides to report you to the rspca because you allowed your dog to jump 5 bar gates or run into a wall while chasing rabbits or that he belived your dogs were underweight or that you subject them to passive smoke
I think theres a huge difference...
I'm not saying it coulnt have been handled better and im not disputing that there are many things the rspca could do better but personally 'anything' that highlights bad treatment of pets in the media has a definite element of bieng ok by me.
Had i read a post about your cat and kitties id have...
If the dog was just overweight id be inclined to agree - maybe some form of support should in that case be put in place to 'support' the owner care for the dog better?
I still think this is possible in this case but initally the dog imo 'had' to be removed for its own health - it could hardly...
'Killing with kindness' and 'love' (for me at least) are completely different. One is healthy and one is highly abusive and disabling. I think that the owners should be intensively assessed and thier difinition of 'love' scrutinised before the dog is allowed back into their hands...
Being in a minority group myself I’m glad tha they expect you to have some awareness of the range of people you're gonna be protecting :- " examples of minority groups for next time, black, tranasgender, gay, lesbian, physical disability, refugees. Id say if you can name a few and...
It took a long time for me to let Shaun offlead cause he was so nervous. Now tho, he loves it, and loves playing with other dogs, especially other greys. Can't think why this guy avoids you. Unless his dog is paricularly nervous or summat??
Yep arnt they funny. lol. Nelly wont sit on the wooden floor in the dining room even if the house is really toasty. Has to be on a blanket or a knee. Dont think she'd ever speak to me again if i tried to make her sit on the floor ourside (w00t) . Heaven forbid :D
Me thinks your trainer...
Shaun bounces around and goes up on his hind legs like a horse. Nelly tries to push him out of the way and sometimes jumps up into your arms (which i quite like a lot). Bless em, and all yours too :huggles:
