As you may know, woody went in for x-rays on friday, and I was very worried. Thankfully all went fine! All your good wishes must have helped, so thank you. She didn't find anything really abnormal, she did an ultrasound scan as well so she could compare the two, but still nothing stood out. So...
I had put a bit of an up-date on the bottom of the 'woody's new collar' thread as I didn't want people to get fed up of this topic getting bumped up again all the time! In brief, he's going for x-rays tomorrow - I'm very worried
I desperatly want to get started working my beddy whippet? She's got a high pray drive and I think has done it before as I bought her from a farmer that didn't want her anymore because she kept escaping from him. She'll kill and eat all small animals she catches in the garden, but I'd love to...
He's not too great at the mo' his eating has dropped off, I had to spoon feed him biscuits soaked in chicken broth this morning - just to get him to eat something. But he's going into the vets to be x-rayed tomorrow morning, poor chap will be all on his own for the day, and I'm worried about him...
Woodys new collar arrived in the post this morning I am so pleased I just have to show you all! I got it in one of the auctions on the market page. I had wanted to get him in the garden to take these pics, but he couldn't get up so its more snoozing pics I'm afraid - But doesn't he look handsome...
Hi there, fantastic pictures, your ever so good with the camera, and bluebelle does pose terrifically! I really like the collar she's wearing in the pics, where did you get it from? - I would love those for my dogs, it looks nice and lightweight
I agree about going to socialising classes, Bibi was nervous and the classes brought her out of herself beyond belief - give it a try they are never very expensive and its money well spent, plus you'll meet like minded people you can share tips with and go out on socilising walks - all good fun
Ok so first trip to my own vet who has lurchers herself and I trust implicitly. Woodys very wobbly on his feet and the blood test showed a underctive thyroid gland, she's given him medication for this but doesn't think it will solve the wobblyness problem, she assessed him and also discovered a...

Their ages were given at 11, and I can believe that about woods as he is very grey around the muzzle. But I really do think Bobs is much much younger as he plays with the other dogs and has become really interested in toys - the dogs trust said he never played it was even written on his...
