Has anyone had any problems with bald skin on whippie ears. Or mites, or flaky/peeling skin just on the ears?
Interested in anyone's experiences.
(w00t) We've just won the BRONZE team event!!
Okay it's not a gold but it's a medal still!
Gotta feel sorry for Zoe missing all the fun :(
Fingers crossed for the individuals :huggles:
It's been a year now since we lost Moggie to old age. (She was 13.5)
She was our first whippet and the leader of our 'pack' for many years. We miss her very much but we enjoy our memories of her because of all the fun and love she brought.
So amid the odd tear I found this photo and thought...
It's Zoomie's birthday next week and one of his pressies arrived in the post today :- "
It's a beautiful teal jumper from one of the dog charities we support http://www.k9knitters.co.uk/?page_id=5
(w00t) He spotted me opening the package and nosed and nosed about - he knew it was for him so...
You need to concentrate on this............
How do you shoot a blue elephant?
With a blue elephant gun
How do you shoot a pink elephant
Twist its tail until it turns blue and shoot it with a blue elephant gun
How do you shoot a green elephant?
Tell it dirty jokes until it turns pink, twist...
Oooh it was hot, hot, hot today - 27C in the shade (w00t)
So what do little iggies do?
Zoomie steps out to check out possible sunspots - the doorstep is in the shade but a bit too hard for pointy elbows to lie down on...
My babies are ELEVEN years old now!
They're a bit stiff, very grey around the face (well Phoenix is almost white all over!), but love their scoff, walks and of course their cuddles :huggles:  They will both always be my babies because I hand reared them when Morgan was very ill after...
Before opening any of these links please make sure you have walked the dog, had a pee and made a cup of tea because you will be sitting here for several hours....

(w00t) So I popped Zoomie on my flowery rug and said to him that I have been very busy with work recently but now have a break so would he mind posing for some photos for all his pals.
He said "This way, that way.... profile?".... while I clicked away
I was on the sofa with five dogs the other day and it was soooo cosy.
I had to push Phoenix off my knee to get up to take this photo of Zoomie and Lottie with Milly and Zinzin but we were soon all back in place with a cup of tea and a book......what a lovely cuddle we all had :huggles:
p.s...
My Little-Lottie-boo-boo is two years old today!!!!
Happy Birthday Darling girl
She opened her presents this morning, is having cake this afternoon and then roast chicken for dinner...mmmm
Here she is with some of her pressies - she was given a little china dog to save her...
Today is Moggie's birthday and she would have been 14years old but we lost her last August (my very first whippet). She passed away in peace in her own bed of simple old age with OH cuddling her.
But I've been thinking of her and it would have been her birthday today. When she wanted a cuddle...
The wonderful story here about Peter Rabbit reminded me of my beloved 'Donkey' that I had as a child.
My Mum knitted him when I was about five and I was devoted to him. He was stuffed with old tights and had a red blanket/saddle and a red scarf. He was only ever called 'Donkey' although Mum...
I'm thinking of giving the Iggies a rest in August (giving the judge a miss ;) ).
I was thinking of bringing The Supermodel out of retirement just for fun and was wondering who was judging whippets in August?
I miss showing my darling girl and when I was packing the car for Crufts last week...
