borzoi came in 5th dumbest (w00t) I am not surprised at all, I have just had to pull two of mine out of the canal as they fell in while gawping at the cows on the other side :angry:

interesting topic, the problem of no critiques is common in all breeds, out of the past 6 shows we have attended only 3 have bothered with a critique! judges forget that we the exhibitors are doing them a favour by entering under them, it costs enough money to show your dog so the disappointment...
:lol: excellent, my borzoi flushed a stag last week, none of them or the two saluki`s OR the other two borzoi noticed it! the only one who did was a geriatric terrier that couldnt react fast enough!!

try giving him a tablespoon of powdered arrowroot in milk 3 times daily, it works a treat and you cant overdose them on it ! it will biuld up his appetite and line his stomache too, you can get it from health food shops or chemists and its only about a quid for a bag!

do you think it would be ok to take a couple of my borzoi? I`m not sure if they would run from the traps tho, theyve never done it before but I`d love to give them a go, takes me back to my childhood racing the whippets and greyhounds :teehee:
powdered arrowroot for the runs, tablespoon ful in milk 3 times a day, works a treat.
puree spinach and pour it on the food for dogs with itchy skin, the more they will take the better.
tea (without milk or sugar :p ) for infected eyes
calendula powder is excellent for drying up and healing...
