Hi
I have two dogs that are both having poop issues which i think ae related to a recent ood change. They where both on james wellbeloved dry food prior to the change, however, both of them lost interest in their food and i was throwing away more than they was eating each meal time. I was time...
Hello,
Looking for some feeding guidance for millies wolfheart please. I've been scouring the internet for a food that would be suitable to feed both my senior and puppy, and stumbled across millies wolfheart.
I've decided i'm going to give the countryside mix a try for the both of them...
I took the plunge and bought a little tray of wet food. Mixed it in and she wolfed it down, locked her bowl clean!
I don't mind keeping up with mixing the food together, as long as she eats, grows and is healthy. Thank you
Hello all,
So i went away for a long weekend and let my fur-baby in the capable hands of my partner. On my return i find that Zero refuses to eat her food. She has previously wolfed down her food, and often tried to at our older dogs food too. ( I supervised feeding time and made sure she...
Hello all
I've just purchased a service bell and hoping to train my puppy to ring the bell when she needs to go toilet.
Has anyone had any experience of this? Any hints or tips you can give would be greatly appreciated :)
Thank you
Hi all
Just a update, so after posting I gave her the rest of her breakfast. And kept a close eye on her, she wretched a couple of times around dinner time but didn't bring anything up. Fed as normal and she ate and drank as she normally would do. Had no other bouts of sicknesses or diarrhea...
Looking for advice plz.
So my puppy woke me up this morning as normal for her morning wee and poop. Only after returning inside with her she continued to poop, formed poops but a few of them with her last poop being softer less formed consistency but not overly watery. She's up to date with...
Hello all,
I need some help/advice. I have an older dog of 11years and recently got a puppy. Since bringing the puppy home my older dog has been using the house as a potty. He will wee outside everytime, but occasionally he'll poop in the house. I originally put this down to accident, although...
Looking at insurance options for both my pup and dog. How much coverage would be best? There so many options! I've just ran their details through a compare site and i'm looking at lifetime insurance options, i assume this is the best coverage. Are there any other companies offering good coverage...
I know this is an old post but i totally agree, some people do not deserve dogs!
My mum lives next door to a person who owns two tiny shih tzu, they are outside all the time. Even in the cold :( I went to pick my mum up yesterday and they were both outside huddled together on the front...
Wow. I didn't realise this thread would start up such a debate!
Well, personally for me I think I'm going to keep my old boy on his Harringtons and through him the odd chicken leg (I'm thinking he's a larger dog so might chew a leg rather than swallow a whole wing!). As for my pup, I'll be...
My old boy is a mix breed, a mongrel if you like (i hate that word lol) the vet says he has collie in him though. But there really isn't any definite breed that i can discern from him, but then again i've never bothered to look, love him all the same. Weight wise he's about 25kg, but i've not...
rabbits
It's not so much that they scare me, i think they look cute. But i could never handle one. We had a white, pink-eyed rabbit when i was little and it was evil! lol. I remember it being out running around the garden, i wasn't aware. I bent down to tie my laces and the little...
If anyone head locked my dog, there would be a whole world of trouble landing at their feet! I'm no dog whisper, merely just an owner, but if my dog was freaking out, i know trying to restrain him like that would make the situation a million times worse.
Thank you for all your replies :D
I'll most definitely try to introduce raw food into their diet. I haven't done too much research on the food front, but from what I have read the royal canin stuff doesn't sound too good. I believe Harringtons is midrange in quality, in all honesty my old boy...
Hello,
I am just wondering do many people combine raw feeding with dry? Is it an option?
I currently have an 11 year old dog who is exclusively fed Harringtons grain free. And in a weeks time I'll be getting a coton de tulear puppy. The puppy is currently fed on royal Canin, I'm in familiar...
Just a quick introduction...
We've haven't got this little girl yet, we pick her up next week. My son had a hand in the name, he loves the film Nightmare Before Christmas so wanted to call her zero after Jack's dog in the film
Anyway, going to stalking this forum for hints and tips on...
